When you can’t be there, Geer Cares.

When you can’t be there, Geer Cares.

At Geer Village Senior Community we realize caregiving is a full time and sometimes stressful task. Taking a break is important to keep you at your best, so that you can continue to care for your loved one.

We know that everyone does not require the same type of care. That’s why at Geer Village Senior Community, we offer a few options. Regardless of the option you choose we can offer you peace of mind that your loved one is safe and well cared for while you take time to care for yourself.

Adult Day Center 860-453-4201
Seniors may attend the day center with transportation included, from 1-5 days per week.  While there, they benefit from clinical supervision including medication management from an RN; therapeutic recreational activities; nutritious lunches and snacks; personal care (including bathing) and most of all, you can “take a break” from caregiving!

The Lodge At Geer Village 860-824-2625
The Lodge offers a 30-day respite care stay in a beautifully furnished apartment where seniors benefit from 24 hour care; 3 well balanced meals per day; stimulating activities; on-site pharmacy services, transportation to medical appointments and the companionship of their peers. Knowing this allows you, the caregiver, to “take a break”!

Geer Nursing & Rehab Center 860-824-3800
The Nursing & Rehab Center is a 4-star facility that offers short term stays ranging from a minimum of 1 week to whatever amount of time is needed.  Services include, but are not limited to: nursing management; therapeutic recreation; nutritious meals; physical, occupational or speech therapies, pharmacy services and transportation to medical appointments. A variety of payment sources are available. Providing a balance of professional and personal attention is always our goal.
