30 Oct Geer Village Senior Community Supports our Senior Veterans
We owe our Veterans so much and they ask for so little. So many of our Veteran’s are unaware of the benefits that they have earned. Senior Veterans are especially in need of support as their health care needs change and perhaps their resources (family and/or money) are limited.
On Friday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm Veterans Financial, a private financial services company, will be at the Lodge to present a Free Workshop regarding Veteran’s benefits that may help pay for Senior Care.
How will you pay for senior living? This workshop will focus on The Department of Veterans Affairs Aid & Attendance Benefit which is little known and often misunderstood. This benefit can provide up to $25,525 per year toward the cost of assistance needed with Activities of Daily Living. This could include; home care, a personal care home, adult day care, assisted living or nursing home care.
Please RSVP to Deb Pelletier by phone (860) 824-2625 or firstname.lastname@example.org
