We are thrilled to share that our new Medical Director, for both Geer Lodge and Geer Nursing is Dr. Michael Trager. Dr. Trager is affiliated with Hartford HealthCare Medical Group and will be starting on campus August 22nd.

Residents at Geer Lodge and Geer Nursing can choose to have Dr. Trager as their Primary Care Physician. Dr. Trager will be on campus daily and share his time between the two buildings. Hours in each location will be announced soon, and will include some open hours for sick visits for immediate non-emergent needs.
In the meantime, if you think you may want to take advantage of Dr. Trager’s appointment hours at Geer Lodge, we encourage you to complete the consent forms prior to needing an appointment. This will make for the smoothest transition.
Residents do not need to choose Dr. Trager as their Primary Care Physician in order to avail themselves of his services but they do need consent to share files and insurance information.
