Lodge Covid-19 Notice 8/29/2021
August 29, 2021
Dear Residents and Families,
We are pleased to report that all further Covid-19 testing for both residents and staff is negative. The efforts of our staff and residents in practicing infection protocols along with our very high vaccination rates have proven to be beneficial. We want to thank you once again for your continued support and patience.
Effective Monday August 30th at 6:00am:
- All staff, Care Partners, vendors, and contractors, regardless of vaccination status must continue to wear a well-fitting surgical mask while in resident care areas. These areas include, and are not limited to, lobbies, elevators, hallways, etc.
- Residents should wear masks while indoors when out of their apartments, masks may be removed when eating in the dining room only.
- Visitation: As we continue visitation, please feel free to use our courtyard for visits. Outdoor visitation is preferred due to increased space and airflow. In alignment with core principles of Covid-19 infection prevention, you should avoid all other residents while in the building. When traveling to/from your loved one’s apartment or the courtyard, please stay clear of others. Visitors must wear a well-fitting face mask at all times regardless of vaccination status.
- With the Covid-19 variant strains on the rise, Residents taking social excursions outside the facility should take care in preparing for potential risks in public settings, avoid crowds, poorly ventilated spaces and use face coverings.
Communal activities: Group activities and social events will resume beginning Monday August 30st.
Due to commercial cleaning of the Dining Room, all meals will continue to be delivered to Resident’s apartments until Wednesday morning.
