Lodge Visitation update 03/15/2021
March 15, 2021
Dear Residents and Families,
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued patience and support, as we continue to endure the challenges of this pandemic together. We could not do this without you, and are grateful for your support. We recognize that many of you have not seen your loved ones in over a year and understand the stressors that have made this past year so difficult. We deeply appreciate your willingness to continue to work with us as we look forward to brighter days ahead.
We are excited to announce that we will begin to reopen The Geer Lodge assisted living facility in stages. While it may be a while before we fully open, we are sure you will now appreciate the opportunity for some private visitation time with your loved ones in their home.
Although the prevalence of Covid-19 is decreasing and we have seen recent changes in guidance for the community at large, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and our governing bodies have not yet changed the guidance for healthcare facilities as it relates to mask wearing and distancing. We will continue to keep you informed and provide updates as policies and guidelines change.
We ask that you follow the attached visitation instruction sheet and brief risk assessment that will be reviewed over the phone when you call to schedule your visitation time.
Future reopening agenda items will include limited communal dining in April, ongoing building updates and scheduling of events. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions, and we look forward to seeing you all again in the days and months ahead.
