Nursing Covid-19 Update 11-8-2021

We want to provide you with an update on the current Covid outbreak within the nursing home. As stated in our previous updates, we continue to complete testing on our residents and staff bi-weekly. Despite seeing significant numbers of residents recover from Covid, testing has resulted in additional positive cases among fully vaccinated residents and staff members. Sadly, we have lost 7 residents with serious underlying health issues to Covid.

Geer Village Senior Community’s top priority is the health and safety of our residents and employees. We encourage the community to reach out with questions. If your loved one should test positive or become symptomatic of Covid-19, we will notify you immediately. We continue to provide access to the monoclonal antibody treatment to any resident that meets the criteria for treatment. If your loved one is sick, we will discuss the treatment options with you and their physician.
