Staff Development Coordinator
Geer Village Senior Community located in the scenic, historic town of Canaan, offers a superb setting for Geer Nursing & Rehabilitation, and The Lodge. Currently, we are seeking an exceptional, compassionate, hard-working Staff Development Coordinator with a desire to do more than just meet the training needs of our staff.
In this role, you will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the orientation and training of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities. You will take over administrative duties in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
- Must have good verbal and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate organizational and educations skills.
- Long term care, skilled nursing experience is preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care.
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Must have solid computer skills to assist employees with logins and training.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
