Geer is looking for a strong, detail driven Business Office Manager to lead our financial operations and make a real impact in a respected senior care community in Northwest Connecticut.

About the Role:

This is not just a billing job. This is a leadership position responsible for the financial health of the facility. You will oversee revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, census accuracy, reconciliations, and compliance. You will partner directly with the Administrator and Regional A/R Manager to ensure strong cash flow and operational excellence.

What You Will Own:

Revenue Cycle Leadership:

  • Bill Connecticut Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, Hospice, Commercial Insurance, and Private Pay accurately and timely
  • Oversee accounts receivable, aging reports, collections, and adjustments
  • Conduct weekly and monthly aging reviews
  • Reconcile ancillary invoices and ensure accurate posting in PCC

Financial Controls:

  • Oversee daily deposits, cash logs, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate census reporting in PCC
  • Balance revenue reconciliation to census and complete month end close

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise Assistant BOM, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Reception functions
  • Ensure deadlines, reporting schedules, and productivity standards are met
  • Support compliance with State and Federal regulations

What We Are Looking For?

  • 1–2 years of Business Office Manager experience in Skilled Nursing
  • Solid knowledge of Connecticut Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement
  • Experience with reconciliation, accounts receivable management, and third party insurance
  • Experience with PCC preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the confidence to handle sensitive financial conversations
