Eileen Fox

Eileen Fox – Geer Board Member since 2016

Eileen Fox is a retired attorney living in Northwest Connecticut with her family. Before retirement, Eileen held various administrative and legal positions in New York City’s banking and financial industry. At retirement, she was Managing Director and General Counsel of BT Alex, Brown inc., and Managing Director and Counsel to Bankers Trust Company.

Eileen holds a B.A. in Political Science from LeMoyne College, an M.A. in Urban Policy Analysis from New School University, and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, West Africa.

Eileen has served in various volunteer capacities, including a board member of The Canaan Foundation; Vice President, Secretary, and board member of the Friends of the Canaan History Center; past president of the Scoville Memorial Library board of directors; and a past member of the Sharon Hospital Advisory Board. She has also participated in fundraising efforts for various community organizations.

Her mother-in-law was extremely well-cared for as a resident of the Geer Nursing Home. Eileen started on the Geer Board in 2016 and is currently Chair of the Governance Committee and Co-Chair of the Development/Communications Committee.
