Director of Housekeeping and Laundry – Full Time

Geer Village Senior Community located in the historic town of North Canaan, CT offers a superb setting including Geer Nursing and Rehab and Geer Lodge. Currently, we are seeking an exceptional person to become our Director of Housekeeping and Laundry.

The Director Housekeeping & Laundry is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Housekeeping & Laundry Department at Geer Nursing and Geer Village in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as directed by the CEO and, in concert with the Executive Director of Geer Village, to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. In this exempt position you will manage a staff of 7 – 8 employees.
